Kansas State Historical Society

This two-year partnership between the Kansas State Historical Society and the Kansas Collection at the University of Kansas, will digitize significant primary resources from the Civil War era. The project will produce two outcomes: a virtual repository of the best Territorial Kansas information and artifacts from the two institutions, and curriculum units based on selected digitized items developed to enhance the teaching of U.S. history at the middle school, high school, and college levels.
