Log Number: LG-95-17-0047-17 (a)
Note: (a) denotes an amendment made outside of the original awardIn partnership with Peer2Peer University, Kansas City Public Library will scale up the Learning Circles model, a community-based blended learning program, extending it in five additional public library systems across the nation (Charlotte, Chicago, Cleveland, Milledgeville, and Tampa). Learning Circles combine enrollment in online courses with in-person group study sessions facilitated by librarians covering a range of academic, professional, and personal development subjects. In addition to developing local programs in each of the six communities, the project team will refine the Program's existing software tools, evaluate the efficacy of the model, and disseminate the program to the broader library community with support from Public Library Association and OCLC WebJunction.
