Purdue University will generate a roadmap leading to the redesign of the Data Curation Profiles Toolkit (DCPT). The project is comprised of two parts: (1) to define four key areas of development for the next iteration of the DCPT and to get the input of a broad group to develop the roadmap, which will result in a proposal to design and build the next version of the DCPT, and (2) to support a dialogue of experts on bridging the gap between data creation and data curation, with an end goal of making the transition a smoother and more seamless process. This effort will identify the key challenges, setting an agenda for community action and ensuring that the next iteration of the DCP Toolkit is well situated to make an impact in further developing data services.
