National Audubon Society

The National Audubon Society, in partnership with The Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University, Stanford University, and The Ohio State University, will use its grant to conduct a series of case studies aimed at identifying the values community members ascribe to nature centers. Using a small sample of nature centers, this project is expected to improve the field’s understanding of the relationships between nature centers and the communities they serve. It will lay the groundwork for a full-scale research project.
