Lynn Meadows Discovery Center

This museum, across the street from the Gulf of Mexico, received extensive hurricane damage in 2005. With many of the museum’s constituents still in trailers from the Federal Emergency Management Agency, roads not fully repaired, and schools not fully functioning, the museum reaches out to children and their families with WINGS, its performing arts program. This award of $25,000 will enable this program to continue for the full 2007/08 academic year.
