Louisiana Children's Museum

The Children’s Museum will expand on a 2003 Learning Opportunities Grant to implement learning pathways for children through the museum’s exhibits. The planned opening of this project was delayed when Hurricane Katrina closed the museum. This $18,091 grant will allow several activities to resume, including hiring curriculum and education staff, training local teachers, and subsidizing admission and bus transportation for New Orleans area children.
