Mississippi Department of Archives and History

The Mississippi Department of Archives and History will conduct a comprehensive survey of the status of Mississippi’s collections, institutional preparedness for emergency, and level of collection care knowledge among staff charged with the responsibilities of collections stewardship. Museums, libraries, archives, and other cultural heritage organizations will be included in the online survey. Partners include the Mississippi Library Commission and the University of Southern Mississippi Libraries.
