Tennessee State Library and Archives

The Tennessee State Library and Archives and Tennessee State Museum will work together to identify the preservation needs of Tennessee’s cultural heritage collections. The two agencies will survey and identify urgent conservation needs, assess environmental conditions of storage sites, and provide educational resources for conservation of collections. Project activities include: a statewide survey of museums, archives, libraries, and historic sites; on-site consultation with staff to consider specific improvements; and educational workshops on proper environmental conditions and disaster preparedness.
