Indiana Historical Society

The Indiana Historical Society, in partnership with Association of Indiana Museums, Indiana Cooperative Library Services Authority, Eiteljorg Museum of American Indian and Western Art, Conner Prairie Living History Museum, Indianapolis Museum of Art, Minnetrista Cultural Foundation, Historic Landmarks Foundation of Indiana, and the Lincoln Museum, will create a comprehensive statewide assessment of collections conservation needs and develop collections management strategies to address these needs. The project will bring together, for the first time, major Indiana institutions with diverse expertise and experience to heighten statewide awareness about the need for collections care and to ensure the safeguarding and preservation of Indiana’s heritage collections.
