Connecticut State Library

The Connecticut State Library, in partnership with the Commission of Culture and Tourism, Connecticut Humanities Council, the Connecticut State Museum of Natural History and Archaeology Center, the League of Connecticut History, the Harriet Beecher Stowe Center, and the four representatives who attended IMLS’s Connecting to Collections national summit, will develop a statewide planning process for developing emergency plans, harnessing digital resources, training staff, cataloguing collections and building public and private support. This process will produce a better understanding of the conservation needs of the 900 collecting institutions in the state, as well as an ongoing collaborative (“Conservation ConneCTion”) to act on the findings and recommendations of the planning team.
