In this two-year research project, the California Digital Library, in partnership with Bancroft Library, the Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive, and the Phoebe Hearst Museum of Anthropology, as well as the Grunwald Center and the Graduate School of Education and Information Studies, Department of Information Studies at UCLA, will develop and complete a formal user evaluation of the Museums and the Online Archive of California (MOAC) testbed. It will also develop evaluation tools that can be used by other digital libraries, and make good general recommendations for the improvement of digital libraries based on the results.
