Brigham Young University (Brigham Young University Museum of Art)

Brigham Young University will use its grant for the planning, development, and presentation process for a major exhibition on the arts of Islam. Islamic artworks from 14 major world museums will be assembled into an exhibition that reflects the impact of an Islamic heritage on many different cultures. The exhibition will contain approximately 200 objects including calligraphy, paintings, ceramics, carpets, textiles, metalwork, jewelry, and architectural elements.
