Log Number: LG-256654-OLS-24
Towson University, in collaboration with Central Michigan University (CMU) and Georgia State University (GSU), will develop a student-centered outreach model for academic archives. This two-year forum project includes a series of virtual forums with students, faculty, and practitioners to discuss student-centered outreach programming. These forums will inform a data-driven, cost-effective, and generalizable student-centered outreach model for academic archives that will be disseminated to librarians, archivists, educators, and undergraduate and graduate students across the country. The project will enhance student engagement with archives, benefiting librarians, archivists, educators, and students nationwide. Subrecipient GSU will provide support with all aspects of planning and facilitating the forums, as well as hire four consultants who will serve as inclusion advocates for the forums. Subrecipient CMU also will support all aspects of the forums as well as disseminate project findings and the outreach model at two professional conferences.
