The University of Illinois Chicago Library aims to enhance librarians’ knowledge, skills, and applications in assessing student success and library experiences, utilizing an assessment tool developed by the project team in previously funded IMLS work. During the first year, the project team will develop, deliver, and facilitate a workshop series to enhance librarians’ proficiency in using assessment tools through enriched learning experiences. After completing the workshop series in the first year and the implementation project in the second year, participants will become ambassadors for a student success assessment project.
