Log Number: LG-250098-OLS-21
Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis will validate and implement a theoretical model for developing public library services relevant to open data, which were developed from a previous IMLS-funded project (LG-96-17-0184-17). The project will focus on ways that public libraries create capacity to work with and provide services using open data, under the Community Catalysts project type. The project team will partner with four public libraries to validate the service model focusing on four areas: (1) promoting open data access, (2) providing data literacy instructions for the public, (3) developing library programing from open data, and (4) developing internal data capacity for future service development.
