New York University Libraries, in collaboration with the NYU Visualization and Data Analytics Research Center and Webrecorder, will bring its IMLS-funded web archiving prototype, ReproZip-Web, into production. ReproZip-Web is an open-source tool that will enable the capture and preservation of dynamic data journalism and digital humanities projects. External partners will participate in conducting this work, including ProPublica and the Data Desk team at the Los Angeles Times. ReproZip-Web will enable archivists to preserve dynamic websites for the future, in service of cultural memory and our collective historical record.
