Queens Museum of Art

Queens Museum of Art is embarking on a collaborative project with Queens Borough Public Library that will result in the development of innovative new programming and the establishment of a branch library in the museum. The project will address the needs of both the museum and library through strong joint professional development programs, the development of programs that will be conducted by both organizations, and in-depth evaluation. The program focuses on meeting the community needs of new Americans. This museum/library partnership will increase the visibility of museum programs, increase museum attendance, and serve as a model for museums seeking to become active participants in the growth of their communities.
