Heritage Preservation

Heritage Preservation, in cooperation with the Association for Preservation Technology and the National Park Service, will create and present a workshop " Best Practices for Condition Assessments of Historic Structures". This workshop will benefit the approximately 200 architects and architectural conservators who serve as Conservation Assessment Program assessors and the hundred of museums they will assess in the coming years. The workshop will be designed in panel and discussion format, offering a venue for CAP architectural assessors to discuss their favored techniques for conducting condition assessments and a forum for dialogue among participants. The design will allow attendees to gather expert opinions of experienced conservators while sharing their own best practices.
