In this project, researchers at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee School of Information Studies will create a novel interactive virtual reference (iVR) model and prototype system. The project team will develop a virtual reference assistant that will dynamically observe patrons' information-seeking behaviors and adapt to them, in contrast to the traditional online reference service. The project will make the iVR software freely accessible to the library community.
