In this fourteen-month research project, the School of Informatics will investigate the impact of youths' use of the Internet on their use of the public library. The project will sample students from schools in the Buffalo area and western New York state to determine which populations have access to digital information and how they are using it, and where students access the Internet. The results will suggest the likely impact of the Internet on the public library.
