Syracuse University will develop core competencies in the Digital Reference Community. Using workshops, a web portal, toolkit and course syllabi, five core audiences (Library Information Educators, Library Information Students, Practicing Librarians; Library Managers, Paraprofessionals) will be able to develop, strengthen, and test their competencies. The outcome of the project will be showcased at the Fifth Annual Virtual Reference Desk Conference and will include a variety of searchable online deliverables.
