The Oakland Museum and the Spanish Speaking Citizen's Foundation Youth and Family Services will partner to develop a program for collecting, preserving, and exhibiting community history. The program will use low-income, inner-city youth as researchers and exhibit designers and will include the development and implementation of a Summer Youth History Project. *Awarded under Museum Leadership Initiatives program - now part of National Leadership Grants for Museums
