MOSI, Museum of Science and Industry

The Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI), Hillsborough County Head Start and the Hillsborough County Public Library (both have a branch located on MOSI's site) will collaborate to identify how best to serve the needs of the teachers, parents and families of Head Start students. The project will encourage parents’ and teachers’ appreciation for the value of math, science, technology, and literacy in various stages of childhood development; provide community-based activities which promote family learning; and create a model of collaboration that can be applied to other organizations. *Awarded under Museum Leadership Initiatives program - now part of National Leadership Grants for Museums
