Kosrae State Museum

The Kosrae State Museum will enhance preservation and access to its collection through storage and security improvements, digitization, and expanded interpretation. The museum, located in Tofol within the Federated States of Micronesia, provides insight into a pivotal chapter in United States military history in the Pacific region. Museum staff will purchase security cameras, lighting equipment, solar air conditioners, computers, and a digital camera, which will be used to improve environmental conditions and security and allow greater access to the collection through digitization and documentation of remote World War II relics.
