Art Museum of Eastern Idaho

The Art Museum of Eastern Idaho will implement a Teen Tours program for eighth to twelfth-grade students that includes field trips, interactive art projects, community projects, and museum career preparation. Staff will develop field trip curricula and schedule tours, as well as recruit, train, and mentor students in the museum career program. The project will support transportation for field trips, art supplies, digital equipment, and program promotion. The project will foster art appreciation, promote creativity and problem-solving, and improve communication and collaboration skills among student participants. Additionally, students selected for the mentorship program will develop leadership skills and gain hands-on experience that prepares them for a possible career in museums.
