Museum of Art Fort Collins

The Museum of Art Fort Collins will expand the scope of its pilot “MoA for All” program to promote inclusive engagement across diverse audiences. Project activities include equipping its new Art Engagement Center and implementing a community curated art and conversation program. The museum will partner with the Poudre School District, Colorado State University, and social service/nonprofit organizations to create free customized access packages tailored to the unique needs of underrepresented community members. This project will support a full-time program manager and the purchase of equipment and supplies for project activities. The outcome will be a model for meaningful community engagement that can be easily replicated by other museums. The ultimate beneficiaries of the project are members of the community at the most risk of social exclusion from the informal cultural education that visiting an art museum provides.
