Angel Island Immigration Station

The Angel Island Immigration Station Foundation will create a new permanent exhibit and associated programming to promote visitor engagement with the history of the site. In collaboration with Angel Island State Park and community advisors, project staff and collaborators will curate and install the exhibition. For the project, staff will facilitate storytelling trainings and community programs to support visitors in sharing their own personal and familial stories. To increase accessibility to the exhibit and programming, staff will work with contractors to translate exhibit panel content into Chinese and Spanish and hire interpreters as needed for storytelling trainings and community programs.
