Wiregrass Museum of Art

The Wiregrass Museum of Art will perform a complete assessment of the museum's permanent collection. The collection of 735 works of art consists of 231 drawings/watercolors, 259 prints, 66 photographs, 147 paintings, and 34 sculptures (ceramics, textiles, and assemblages).  Staff will work with conservators to conduct an item-by-item conservation survey of objects. For the project, staff will write a long-term collections care plan to prioritize and recommend objects in need of conservation treatment. To increase public online access to the collection, staff will photograph objects and digitize collection records for the museum’s website.
