University of Nebraska (Great Plains Art Museum)
Log Number: IGSM-255983-OMS-24
The Great Plains Art Museum at the University of Nebraska will photograph and rehouse a collection of approximately 550 works of art on paper by artist and educator Dwight Kirsch. A seminal professor and arts administrator, Kirsch was instrumental in building the university’s art collection. Following the recommendations of a recent Museum Assessment Program (MAP) report, museum staff will purchase archival folders and boxes to rehouse the collection and will contract with a professional photographer and regional conservation center to offer a free, one-day hinging and matting workshop for staff, students, and area museum professionals.
