West End Museum

The West End Museum will expand its reach by offering approximately 100 targeted pilot programs and events. Over the two-year project, the museum will work with stakeholders to assess and revise current offerings and explore, develop, and evaluate new programs to better engage the greater Boston community. Museum staff will purchase programming supplies and equipment, marketing materials, and relationship management software. The project team will contract with a community engagement facilitator and a range of program participants including performers, historians, and instructors. The project will result in a portfolio of sustained program offerings reflecting the needs and interests of the museum’s audiences, and a robust methodology for their assessment. Programs will educate visitors, bring together community members, and engage new audience members in the museum’s urban-planning-focused mission.
