Broomfield Veterans Museum

The Broomfield Veterans Memorial Museum will create an interactive, digital display to share the stories of Colorado veterans. Information about local veterans is currently on display at the museum in plastic binders containing images and biographies alongside a name plaque. Updating this display to make it more engaging was identified as a top priority in the museum’s recent strategic plan. The museum will contract with an imaging firm to digitize materials. Staff will purchase a large touchscreen monitor and computer and contract with a multi-media designer to create and install customized software for the display and the museum’s website. The results of this project will be a physical and virtual resource that honors local veterans and enables visitors and the public to learn about military service and global conflict from the perspective of those who served.
