Children's Creativity Museum

Log Number: IGSM-255457-OMS-24

The Children's Creativity Museum will design an immersive, science-based exhibition space to explore California water resources and use through playful, collaborative learning. Museum staff will purchase equipment and supplies including a three-tiered water table, ice table, benches, flooring, and interpretive exhibit elements. The museum will engage a water policy advisor to inform science communications and will contract with an external evaluator to assess visitor satisfaction. The project will result in an exhibition that educates on complex, real-world challenges through play. Children and caregivers who visit the museum will benefit from the exhibition’s sensory play components. Findings from external evaluation will help inform other children’s museums that wish to educate on water resources through hands-on, informal learning.
