Half Moon Bay History Association

The Half Moon Bay History Association will lead a project to assess its education programs and formulate planning documents to shape future PreK–12 education programs with an emphasis on incorporating materials to reach bilingual and Latinx students in San Mateo County. Project activities will include hiring a museum education consultant to conduct a comprehensive assessment of existing programs, create a plan for updating the programs and developing new programs, and build an evaluation framework. Following the assessment and plan development, museum staff will implement the programs and share the plan for replication by other museums. Through this planning and implementation project, visitors will have a greater understanding of coastside history, from Ohlone times to the recent past.
