Children’s Museum of Brownsville

The Children’s Museum of Brownsville will increase access to play-based STEM experiences through a new exhibit titled, “Reach for the Stars.” The interactive exhibit will focus on mixed air travel such as airplanes, blimps, rockets, and drones while making a connection between past, present, and future to demonstrate the advancements in scientific technology and the potential that it holds for future generations. The museum will engage with DoSeum in San Antonio to create exhibition schematics and serve as the fabrication project manager. By encouraging a new generation of students, mainly young girls, to develop an interest in problem-solving, collaboration, communication skills, and discovery, the museum will provide visitors with a meaningful direction regarding their future studies and careers.
