Southeast Ohio History Center

The Southeast Ohio History Center will inventory its collection of more than 70,000 three-dimensional objects, including textiles, children’s items, archaeological material, natural history collections, military collections, artwork, and items relating to southeast Ohio’s industrial history. Staff will hire and train a collections manager to undertake the inventory of the objects, update collections management records, and rehouse objects as needed for preservation purposes. Increased intellectual control of the objects will improve collections management and increase internal accessibility to the collection.
