Chesapeake Children's Museum

The Chesapeake Children’s Museum will enhance their Pre-K through 8th grade education offerings by incorporating indoor and outdoor programs and exhibits that advance knowledge of creativity and well-being. In collaboration with a creativity specialist, staff will integrate the science of creative well-being with age appropriate lessons and use examples of historical figures – focusing on African American and Hispanic individuals - who used innovative solutions for the challenges they faced. Staff, volunteers, and community partners will be provided with training related to creativity and wellness education. As a result, the museum will offer bilingual programming and outdoor signage to visitors from Anne Arundel County.
