University of Lynchburg (Daura Museum of Art)
Log Number: IGSM-252986-OMS-23
The Daura Museum of Art will digitally document and catalog works from its permanent collection to improve collection management, preservation, and accessibility for approximately 2,500 works of art. The museum’s collection serves as an educational resource for teaching through the interpretation and exhibition of works of art and includes paintings, drawings, works on paper, sculpture, and ethnographic artifacts. The museum will hire a registrar to conduct an inventory of the collection, transfer metadata to a collections database, and photo document the collection. Beneficiaries of the project will include students, faculty, and researchers, as well as the surrounding regional community.
