Pratt Museum

The Pratt Museum will create a series of programs and exhibits to strengthen engagement with Alaska Native culture-bearers and families with young children and limited income. The museum will hire a Director of Lifelong Learning Experiences, who will be outwardly focused to ensure that programming is prioritizing diversity, equity, and inclusion. The new position will be charged with collaborating with key community stakeholders to develop three to five exhibits and accompanying programs, crafting a strategic plan for building future program content and partnerships, and re-establishing the museum as a gathering place for all. The project is designed to result in new and renewed exhibits, programs, and relationships that are transformative for the museum and community. A professional evaluator will measure the museum’s success at achieving the project goals.
