Housatonic Community College (Housatonic Museum of Art)

The Housatonic Museum of Art at Housatonic Community College will undertake a project to increase access to their collections by documenting, digitizing, and archiving 600 objects. A fine art photographer will photograph, edit, and prepare image files. Additionally, the project team will update object records and condition assessments, add digital assets to the collections database, archive digital assets, and launch an online collections database. The project will expand visitor access beyond the limited number of collection items that are available for viewing during in-person visits and remove multiple barriers which exist in accessing works of art.
