Walter Anderson Museum of Art

The Walter Anderson Museum of Art will purchase storage furniture needed to securely rehouse and protect their permanent collection. A preservation needs assessment conducted in 2019 revealed that the museum vault lacks adequate storage space, proper storage furniture, and suffers from overcrowding and lack of access. By purchasing and installing new storage furniture, they will be able to properly store two dimensional artworks that are currently housed in less-than-ideal situations. The museum also will expand existing vault capacity and create new open storage for ceramics to increase public access and maximize the use of their existing space.
