Dungeness River Audubon Center

Log Number: IGSM-249280-OMS-21

The Dungeness River Audubon Center will design, fabricate, and install updates to three of the center’s exhibit areas. Project activities include engaging subject matter experts from the center, the Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe, the Olympic Peninsula Audubon Society, and community stakeholders to create the following three areas: an alcove devoted to interpreting the salmon who call the Dungeness Watershed Home; a large-scale, three-dimensional relief map of the Dungeness Watershed; and a children’s discovery area. The updated exhibit areas will be more scientifically accurate and will show trails, roads, historic tribal villages, and watershed restoration sites; illustrate landscape features from high country to the Strait; and support the ecosystem exhibits.
