Saint Louis University (Medical Center Library)

The Medical Center Library at Saint Louis University will use grant funding to initiate environmental monitoring and stabilization of its Medical Center Library Archival Collection. They will purchase various enclosures for archival materials and artifacts, two data loggers to monitor humidity and temperature, a HEPA filter museum vacuum to safely clean both the space and materials, and ultraviolet fluorescent light filters to prevent damage by ultraviolet rays. At the end of this project, historical archival materials and artifacts will be stored appropriately and access to the collection will be greatly improved.
