Fruitlands Museums

Addressing recommendations from a 2010 Conservation Assessment Program report, Fruitlands Museum will purchase environmental monitoring equipment and accompanying software. The equipment will include ten Preservation Environmental Monitor (PEM2) data loggers, one ultraviolet light monitor, and one moisture meter. This equipment will improve the museum's physical control over its collections by tracking environmental changes throughout their storage and exhibition spaces. Data from these devices will be used to assist the museum in developing long-range conservation goals.
