The Lost City Museum will use funds to purchase archival quality storage materials for the re-housing of the museum's archaeology collection. The museum houses more than 20,000 artifacts that were excavated from Pueblo Grande de Nevada, an Ancestral Puebloan site complex that is also known as the Lost City and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The artifacts range in age from approximately 300 bc to ad 1150 and are extremely important in understanding the cultural practices and material culture of Ancestral Puebloan populations.
