Trotting Horse Museum

The Harness Racing Museum and Hall of Fame will use funds to hire a conservator to treat the earliest known painting of a trotting race in existence. Titled First Painting of a Trotting Race, the work was created by R. S. Hillman in 1831 and depicts a historic race held on October 21, 1831, at the Hunting Park Course in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
