To develop strategic planning software for the American Zoo and Aquarium Association's (AZA) cooperative management programs. This risk analysis software will be specific to the management strategies used for captive populations and allow managers to evaluate the feedback interaction between genetic and demographic analyses and projections, the effects of various single species management strategies, and the interaction of these strategies in multi-species analyses that will optimize the balance between number of species and risk of extinction.
