To purchase and install new storage equipment in which to properly rehouse the museum's collection of 3,406 costumes, accessories and textiles. Items include a beaver robe owned by Kit Carson, military uniforms from the Civil War in New Mexico, territorial militia, Theodore Roosevelt's Rough Riders, and former territorial and state governors, first ladies and statesmen, as well as an 1812 13-star flag and three rare, yet unofficial 47-star American flags that represent New Mexico's entrance into the Union in 1912.
