The Cincinnati Art Museum will use its grant to treat its most prominent work of art, a 34 foot outdoor painted steel sculpture. The sculpture, Atman, was created by Mark di Suvero in 1978-79 and acquired by the museum in 1985. The project will require disassembling, repairing and replacing parts of the sculpture, followed by necessary repainting and reassembling. The Cincinnati Art Museum houses over 60,000 objects and is the largest art museum in Ohio.
