Akron Art Museum

To stabilize and conserve a group of 51 objects by German artist John Heartfield. His photogravures of photomontages, considered by the artist and by critics to be his most important works, are satirical commentaries, most of which attacked fascism and the Nazi regime. Heartfield designed this group of objects for the German periodical Arbeiter-Illustrierte Zeitung.
