Brookfield Zoo

To pilot test and evaluate a flexible, multi-faceted, automated data collection system developed by the Zoo for use with hand-held computers. The goal of this project is to establish this as the primary systems for collecting standardized, accessible behavioral data. This is critical as such information can enhance the care and well being of living collections, and for researchers offers enormous opportunities for the conduct of behavioral research.
